Huskies are beautiful dogs. With their double coat and wolf-like appearance, these dogs tend to turn heads when they go out in public places.

However, they have one trait that stands out: Siberian Huskies are very stubborn. They do what they want to do, even if it’s not what their humans are telling them to do.

Being a pack dog, huskies recognize hierarchy. They only follow the pack leader, and most of the time, they don’t see their humans as the pack leader.

That’s why when their humans tell them to do something they don’t want to do, they “argue” against it. They would let their humans know they can’t be told what to do.

This is what Dakota, the dog in our story, did when his human parents took him to the dog park for a walk. When it was time to go home, Dakota didn’t want to leave. He wanted more time in the dog park, so he threw a tantrum.

His human mom caught the husky’s tantrum on video. She uploaded it on YouTube, where it got more than a million views.

The video shows Dakota rolling on the grass. His human dad pulled on the leash to let him know it was time to go, but the dog wasn’t ready to leave. He refused to move. He also began to argue with his parents.

“We’re done. It’s time to go, come on,” Dakota’s human mom said. His response was classic: he howled and groaned as if to say he wasn’t going anywhere. He avoided his dad’s attempts to pick him up by throwing his feet in the air.

This went on for quite some time. The husky didn’t give in to his parents. He wanted to play some more, and he didn’t want to go.

“Dakota, come on,” mom told him. “You’re embarrassing yourself… and us.”

The husky still refused to obey. He wanted to stay in the dog park, and that was it.

Unfortunately for him, his parents knew exactly how to deal with his stubbornness. After many failed attempts to get him to get up, Dakota’s dad picked him up and brought him to the car.

Dakota didn’t try to argue anymore. He knew he already lost the argument. Home it is.
