James Reynolds, a plumber from England, was out on a routine job. When he arrived at his customer’s house, an unexpected thing happened.

Reynolds said that he knocked on the door, but no one answered. He checked and saw the curtain behind the door moving. After a few minutes, he looked down and, to his surprise, Reynolds saw a friendly dog popping his head out of the cat flap.

As anyone would have done, Reynolds gave the adorable dog a quick stroke. Then, the dog quickly disappeared. Little did he know that his friendly gesture towards the dog would get him roped into a game that the dog has created. After a few minutes, the dog came back and dropped him a ball.

Reynolds gave the ball back to the dog, and the dog kept returning the ball to him. He was so amused that the dog kept doing it. So, Reynolds decided to record their impromptu game. He also shared the video online for everyone to see. He thought that the world needs to see the dog’s brilliance.

A few minutes into the game, the homeowner opened the door. Reynolds quickly explained to the homeowner about the game that their dog made him do. The owner replied that their dog really does that.

When Reynolds got inside the house, he finally met his clever playmate. And while he would have loved to continue playing with the friendly dog, he still had a job to do. So, their little game ended there.

Fortunately, Reynolds will still be back to the customer’s house for some more work. Maybe by then, they’d have another chance to continue the game that they weren’t able to finish. It won’t be surprising if Reynolds comes back earlier than scheduled. After all, their little game made his day.
